Designer's Secret Weapon: How to Extend Imagination from Sensation?

In this episode, we invited the soul of "People Like Design" - Design Director Meng Lingchang, a creator who takes "sensibility" as the core of design. His design philosophy goes beyond mere appearance aesthetics and is deeply rooted in the delicate feelings of human nature.

Highlights:

1. The story behind the brand name: Why did you choose the name "Ren Ruo"? The director shared the aesthetic philosophy between blur and flow.
2. The core of design is feeling: How to transform abstract emotions into concrete spatial stories? The director used the case of a psychological counseling center to explain how to use lighting and space proportions to create a sense of security.
3. Discover unseen needs: Designers are not only creators of space, but also discoverers of needs! From the case of converting a small dining table into a dining table for 8 people, the owners can feel the warmth of "home".
4. The future of design and educational mission: The director’s next step is to share the design concept with more people through education and change everyone’s stereotyped understanding of design.

The most impressive sentence in the show:
"Good design does not require explanation. Everyone who walks into the space should feel the intention."

Come and listen to this wonderful conversation and learn how to use design to change lives and minds!
